Grilled eggplant in a slow cooked, spiced tomato sambal, served with lemongrass lime scented rice and cucumber salsa

MARINATED TOFU(V)

Lemongrass marinated tofu with wok tossed greens and toasted sesame, served with coconut turmeric rice

Former laywer turned chef, cooking instructor and food consultant, graduated from Cordon Vert Cookery School in UK As Chef-Owner of the Little Green Kitchen, Shalu stands for down-to-earth good food, incorporating lots of fresh herbs and spices into her creative dishes and will soon be releasing her own cookbook showcasing her fantastic recipes Specialises in creative vegetarian cuisine with a healthy twist

Chef Shalu is an accommodating host & excellent chef with a personal touch. My colleagues loved the food, presentation and epicurean tastes of the evening. We’d dined on appetizers watching the sunset sipping Champagne, followed by dinner & desserts at the dining room. Chef Shalu had advised me on the wine matching at dessert to serve the Muscato after, and it was indeed too sweet to go with, kudos on keeping the charming dinner palatable. This is the first time I’d had a personal chef cook for us at home and now an indelible memory of enjoying my first ever vegetarian meal in my life turn out more delicious than I’d hoped for, Thanks for a great party!
